I've been writing poetry since Second Grade. One of the challenges in writing poetry is there are so many different forms. I enjoyed using this form, of building a poem from one syllable in the first line to five syllables, then back down to one. I hope you enjoy it, too.

Go, fight

OCTOBER

Red

Orange

Yellow, brown

Leaves falling down

Hot apple cider

Rotund pumpkins

Trick or treat

Harvest

Moon

THANKFUL DAYS

Cool

Weather

Blowing in

Snuggly weather

Gather together

Count our blessings

Thankful praise
